PURE GENMAICHA

Nº6 Hirusagari | Genmaicha

1 Review
¥1,800

Enjoy a good cup of authentic Japanese Genmaicha from Shizuoka. Directly produced at the foot of Mt Fuji and cultivated in its rich soil, nourished by its volcanic nutrients. Hirusagari (early afternoon) has a sweet taste of cereal and a fragrance of young and fresh leaves with a very light aftertaste. Have it warmed, right after lunch, to relax your mind and body.

Details & Attributes

It has a strong aroma of roasted rice and a sweet taste. There is a thickening effect derived from brown rice.

The astringency is not strong. As it is brewed more and more often, the fragrance and sweetness fade away, and the astringency and greenness that is inherent in green tea come to the fore.

Tea Pairing

Best moment of the day: Breakfast - Lunch

Japanese tea is traditionally offered with Japanese sweets. They also pair very well with all sorts of meals, either for breakfast, lunch, breaks, or even dinner (for the lower-caffeine tea).

During his years of serving tea to his dear customers, Mohei's knowledge of the flavors and characteristics of his teas allows him to share the wonders of an exceptional green tea served with the right food. When paired well, Japanese tea can unlock further benefits such as better digestion, better diet, or enhanced sensation of satiety.

English Breakfast

The roasted brown rice will pair perfectly with some bacon and eggs
